Why I became a parenting coach

Ever since I was a child myself, I knew that I wanted to become a mom, and I will always cherish my role as the mother of two boys as the greatest gift I have ever received. But of course, as a child, I had no idea what parenting would ask of me nor whether I would be up for the task. Little did I know that the challenges that motherhood brought me would require that I journey back to my own childhood to look through the lens of how I was parented in order to understand myself well enough to be the best parent that I could be.

I care deeply about kids and their wellbeing, which is why I work hard to make sure that my coaching nurtures the most precious and fragile kind of wellbeing: the emotional wellbeing of the child.

My role as a parenting coach is to support my clients to define their family goals, establish family values, and to create a way of managing expectations and behaviors while setting boundaries and limits based on a framework we create, all while showing up with empathy allowing my clients to feel supported and seen.

what my clients are saying

  • Reflect

As we begin our work together, I will guide you in discovering how the ways in which you were parented now influence how you parent your child. We dive into the vital lessons such as Attachment Theory, _____, and _______ teach us in order to gain self-understanding and compassion.

  • Redirect

Next, we will identify your areas of concern within your current relationship with your child to create greater insight into your child’s emotional needs and behavior. We explore the concepts of emotional intelligence, mindsight and empowered communication.

  • Restore

Our final steps together will enhance your understanding of yourself and your child by bridging the gap between your needs as an individual and your role as your child’s greatest source of strength, safety and love. We will transform common triggers that cause our distress, address limiting beliefs that often sabotage parenting and develop a plan that transforms and empowers your parenting toward harmony and peace in your home.
